How do I setup WordPress to be my host on GoDaddy.com? I already have

    1. Own a custom URL through GoDaddy.com
    2. Migrated my Blogger posts to WordPress
    3. Purchased the $13 upgrade for Domain Mapping
    4. Updated custom URL as my Primary Domain on WordPress
    5. Updated my Nameservers on GoDaddy (per instructions on WordPress)
    6. NOW WHAT??

PLEASE HELP!!! I”M SO CONFUSED!! And, I have unsuccessfully tried to follow the online instructions about downloading an FTP, etc.

Will someone please translate for me what I need to do next? I badly need my blog up and running?

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Hi there, it looks like you’ve done everything right! I’m seeing your WordPress.com site on your domain, as you can see in this screenshot:

If you don’t yet see that on your side, could you please try clearing your browser cache? Let me know if that does the trick.

I have unsuccessfully tried to follow the online instructions about downloading an FTP, etc.

You don’t need to worry about that – FTP is only relevant for self-hosted WordPress sites. There isn’t FTP access with WordPress.com. You can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
