Please help, I can't reduce the margins in Twentyeleven theme

I made a Child Theme to customize the Twentyeleven Theme. I’ve tried everything and I just can’t find the CSS code to increase the margins.

I’ve been searching for hours and I found just what I wanted right here. I’m looking for the same effect. But this code works only having the sidebar in the right side, and I have the sidebar in the left.

This is the code I found, but it only works having the sidebar in the right side
```
#content {
margin-left: 3.6%;
width: 66.4%;
}

#secondary {
margin-right: 3.6%;
}
```
I’d love having the margins like here
