PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY OWN ACCOUNT!!!

    I contacted support at wordpress over 18 hours ago and still no response. I attempted to log in to my account and it said my account was suspended. I don’t know why…my blog is still up…etc. I had an old blog that was under that name. It was hufstergirl.wordpress.com. I attempted to access that blog and it was “suspended.” I don’t know why as I moved it to private and haven’t used it in MONTHS! Now, since that blog was the same as my username, and because I’m the only administrator/contributor on my blog, I can’t get in to edit my blog. Please help! I have contacted support without response. I don’t know what’s going on. Please help!

    Support usually gets back to you quicker than that. Have you checked your spam/bulk bin in your email in case their mail ended up there? Make sure you have them on your whitelist. Often, that’s what’s happened when someone says they’ve not heard back from support.

    I sent in a support ticket earlier today and heard back within a couple of hours. You should double check your email first.

    I actually added them to my contacts in my email I added the (email visible only to moderators and staff) address. That’s the one they will reply from right?

    support@wordpress.com is one of the email addresses I’ve received mail from, however, since your blog was suspended, perhaps the mail might come from (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

    Ahem, sorry to cut in. But could you please NOT post email adresses in clear? We don’t want more spam alongside our support requests in their inboxes, do we?

    Sorry… I thought I’d seen other forum volunteers leave the support email address in here before. In the future I will break the link so as not to cause problems.

    The fact remains I have added both addresses to my contacts so it won’t go into spam and I have yet to hear from anyone on how to resolve this. I didn’t violate the terms of service. The blog that was “suspended” hasn’t been used in months. It was an archive of similar things that were posted on the blog I currently use, which is still visible. I’m just extremely frustrated that I was given no notice of this “suspension” and no way to access my own information.

    I’m sorry, it must be very frustrating. But the fact also remains that the forums are by and large staffed by volunteers who have no way of helping you. All we can suggest is that you try to contact support by email again.

    Hi Aleshah, try checking your “sent” folder, and make sure the correct email address was used. It looks like the “t” was missing in the address you posted here. Maybe WordPress hasn’t received the email. I hope things work out. :) T

    This has been a busy weekend for support. By your own admission, you haven’t even looked at the account in months, so be patient and staff will get around to communicating with you. None of us in the forums can help, you just have to deal with staff. It’s not unusual for them to take a work day or more to get back to people.
