I have it mapped to 7thsinn.wordpress.com right now because 7thsinn.com doesn’t work.
Is it because I switched host that i cannot go back. Once you leave wordpress.com to go to wordpress.org there is no way to go back? -
No, you can always switch back.
Your DNS is still pointing at hostgator. You need to go into your domain management here and change the DNS records to point back at wordpress.com.
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comThen you need to set that domain name as the “primary.” See #3 in this support document.

One thing, from the time you fix the DNS records till your site will start showing up under your domain name could be as much as 24 hours depending on how often your ISP updates their nameservers.

I looked at http://7thsinn.com/ and it appears to be working with your WordPress.com blog. Were you able to figure everything out? Do you still need help with anything?

This is what making me so freaking mad.. it was working fine an hour ago but now it’s pulling the gator hosted one even though i changed back all the settings
-
It can take 24 hours or so for it to settle down. On my own site it came and went for nearly 72 hours before it stabilized. Generally it is 24 or less, but it depends on whole host of things.
@designsimply was seeing your blog here under your domain name. I’m seeing it now under your domain name too, so the propagation is taking place and your settings are correct. Just give it a little time.
