Please help – Log in not working

    I’m having trouble logging onto WordPress. I have a web designer who is upgrading my site and the log in details wont work. This is what my last web developer gave me

    Hi there!

    First, NEVER post your site login information to a public support forum. This leaves your website open to anyone who would run across this thread. I’ve removed those details from your original post for your security.

    Secondly, I think there’s some confusion here. There are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Since we have no access to nor the ability to do anything with your website, there’s nothing we can do here.

    I recommend reaching out to your previous web developer and asking them what your login information is. Otherwise, you may need to contact your hosting provider (GoDaddy) for help.
