Please Help Me Change Blog Time To Eastern Standard

  Can someone tell me how to set the time on my BLOG to Eastern Standard in USA? Most of the answers I’ve found here seem to be a little out of date.

  This doesn’t work. I don’t have “options” I have “settings” and I don’t know what the heck UTC is. I set my UTC to a few different things just to try to fix this myself but the time displayed is like a half hour off. Is this just the way WordPress makes it?

  Settings has replaced options. For your time zone, it should be -4 hours.

  I having central time, and I never set it to eastern time before. but base on UTC here – http://www.iris.washington.edu/seismon/html/utc.html

  you should change it to – 5 , check the link above to make sure.

  Well, if you on on the east coast of the US, right now we have daylight savings time so -4 is correct (I’m also on the east coast).
