Please help me convert my site to multisite
-
We started to explore WordPress for the first time for our business but now we realize that the multisite option will be more useful to use.
Can you please help us convert our current site to multisite?

On WordPress.com, converting a standard site to a multisite network isn’t available on Personal or lower-tier plans. Multisite is only possible if you are self-hosting WordPress.org or using WordPress.com’s Business or eCommerce plans with plugin support.
Here’s what you can do:
- Upgrade to a Business plan if you want to stay on WordPress.com and manage multiple sites under one account.
- Consider migrating to self-hosted WordPress.org — it gives you full multisite control, custom plugins, and themes. Plugins like Jetpack can then help manage network-wide features.
- Always backup your site before making any major changes or migrations.

Multisite isn’t possible on the wordpress.com platform at all – https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/need-to-know-more-about-wordpress-multisite-feature-specific-to-my-use-case/#post-4091543

Hi @ramsingh071961,
Just to clarify, multisite networks (where you manage multiple sites under a single WordPress installation) aren’t supported on WordPress.com. You can read more about that here: Is Multisite Supported on WordPress.com?
That said, you can absolutely create multiple sites on WordPress.com and manage all of them under the same WordPress.com account; each site just needs its own plan.
