Please Help Me Eliminate a Search Widget

  Two “search” widgets are appearing on my blog. The search in sidebar 1 is correct, the search in sidebar 2 is incorrect. The sidebar 2 indicates I am only using one widget (flickr). I have tried to add the search widget to sidebar 2, then remove it, but have had no luck. Even though sidebar two does not list the search widget, it appears. Any ideas?

  I am not familiar with that theme, but it’s entirely possible that the search box in Sidebar 2 is built right into the theme; there are some like that, and that would account for you being unable to remove it. In that case, remove the search box in Sidebar 1. You also have the option to switch themes.
