Please help me in customizing the apostrophe theme!

  Hello dear wordpress team,
  I would like to switch my theme to ‘apostrophe’, because I really love this one.
  I am now having a little trouble with that, because of two problems:
  1.) If I switch to ‘apostrophe’, No pictures are shown- everything is just the titles and grey images. How do I manage to get my pictures onto the blogs first site?
  2.) I selected a colour theme, but the titles of my posts don´t change, they are still in a bright blue, which I really do not like. Did I do anything wrong?
  I stopped, before putting the new theme online, because I am afraid, the Blog will look like a lot of grey shadows and brigt blue text :-(
  It would be great if anyone here could help me! Thanks a lot in advance!
