It takes more than just blogs and forums to get clicks. Are you advertising to your local market or global? Do you have your own domain name? That helps alot. You can get high rankings when you have your own site. I get high rankning results in yahoo and google, like #1 through 8 on page 1. Also dependant on search terms you use and whether you include your city as a market place. Find lots of key words for the information you want people to read, then focus on those words as content in your blogs forums and websites. I could tell you lots more but not at this time because it’s too much for this post.
I can tell you simple things to do that can help if you have a more definitive question.
What is the subject and purpose of your weblog? Who are your target readers?

Have you done a search of the forum and read the several dozen threads with hundreds of tips on these subjects? Do that.

What solutions are there for a free wordpress.com blog? Its not possible to install plug-ins. What can be done to optimize?

Best thing is to update as much as you can. Search engines love an updated blog. I know nothing about optimizing and I get front page on Google occasionally.

You’re probably not getting a single click to your weblog cuz it’s in violation of terms of service, and is suspended. That’s very bad for SEO, and most definitely in the rulebook (somewhere) :P
