Please Help me, My blog is suspended

    please help me, i checked my blog today and i could not access. said blog archived or suspended for violating TOS..
    i just could not understand what rule i violated..please help me. i feel so bad right now because i dont know what to do, i tried e-mailing support but i dont think ill be getting responses because its a monday here in the philippines and its only a sunday maybe in the staff’s place.. please help me.

    Taking a look at the google cache of your blog, I’d say the ads in your sidebar could be the problem. “buyblogreviews” for instance, is clearly against the terms of service here.

    I’m not staff, but I have seen a lot of blogs suspended for stuff like that. It’s only my opinion that this is the issue, though.

    I believe if you sign in you’ll find a warning to contact staff. That contact link always works. Use it. Nobody in the forum can help you.

    raincoaster: im so sad, ive worked so hard for all my blog entries, i have not even saved a back up copy in my computer… :(

    Contact staff. When they suspend a blog, they have a copy.

    But you cannot sell your opinion to people who pay you for positive reviews, nor can you advertise those services. That’s going to slaughter your credibility, even if it doesn’t kill your blog. It’s horribly tacky and low-rent.

    oh is that it? does suspension mean that i cant get any of my contents back? i read the advertising policy and i guess now i know why my account was suspended? cant they give me another chance? i mean, most of the contents there arent advertising, that is why i am really feeling bad right this moment

    Contact support through your Dashboard. You should have a warning which contains a link to contact Support. They will take it from there.

    My blog is suspended too http://euromilhoes.wordpress.com/ , I have it since one year and 2 month now I really don’t understand , it’s a blog in portuguese and english it’s not my first language , I have read the rules and don’t understand why after one year it’s suspended , I tried to login but it don’t work , I would like to download my archives and I don’t know how to do it , please help me, I can’t contact the support because I can’t login .

    Just taking a wild guess, I’d say it’s probably the blinking, flashing ads in your sidebar for lotteries. If you don’t know why that would be a problem, please read this thread again.

    just one more thing , I feel bad too, the terms should be translated in all languages accepted or used by wordpress , how can we understand clearly the TOS if english is not our first language , my english is basic if I violated the rules it was by mistake .

    Someone now how we can contact the support without the login access, I would like my blog back if it’s possible or at least to download my content.

    Use the form I posted directly above your post would be the best option. You can send it in using the same login you are now using in the forums. They will be open early tomorrow morning or about 6 hours I would imagine.

    i really hope i could get my blog back… i have a lot of posts there that are purely personal and i usually make them directly to my blog… i dont keep copies in my pc…its so frustrating

    Posting here will not help. You must contact support as Trent told you above. This is why it’s so important to read the Terms of Service before you agree to them: it’s a contract. If you know what’s in it, you won’t run up against things like this.

    raincoaster , I had read the advertising policy , but it’s posted in the faq not in the TOS
    is that why I don’t “understand” sorry I’m not sure if I used the right word but you are right it’s probably the add , now I know .

    You’re right, it’s not specifically mentioned. It certainly should be. My mistake.
    the Content is not spam, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);

    Of course, reading the FAQ is a good idea too.

    Support will have a backup of your blog. I have seen them reinstate suspended blogs after they came in line with the rules.
