Please help me remove the site navigation in the header.

I’m trying to make a very simple website for my grandfather’s funeral. I’m happy with my design, but the site navigation in the header is ruining everything, and I can’t figure out how to remove it.

Hi there, it looks like the navigation at the top is a set of links that is located in the template, which is modified via the Site Editor. You can remove it by heading to the Site Editor under Appearance > Editor (beta) and editing the template there.
I might suggest using the List View, in the Site Editor, so that you can easily locate the links and remove them all in one go. In case of need, we do have guides that you may find useful, including (if needed) how to use a Navigation Block to set up a menu:
