Please help me stop sisterhoodofthemuse2. I h8 that name

  I was blogging on sisterhoodofthemuse with a friend. a few weeks ago I discovered when I put a like on another blog my like shows up as sisterhoodofthemuse2 without my name attached. And when other bloggers click on the like they are directed to a page with only 2 old posts from when I first started blogging, also without my name. now I want to start my own blog thepleinairexperience. How do I make my likes go out labeled thepleinairexperience? I want to make sisterhoodofthemuse2 go away since it seems anonymous. Thanks

  Well, changes are not retroactive.

  You’ve got two options: either change your username (irreversible and you lose the old name forever) or just register a new account. I’d suggest the latter. If you prefer the former and UNDERSTAND NEITHER YOU NOR ANYONE ELSE CAN EVER USE THE OLD NAME AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT then these are the instructions http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  yeah, I knew a change wouldn’t be retroactive. So I’m trying to do a new blog by myself because I’m not happy with sisterhoodofthemuse or being known as sisterhoodofthemuse2. Does that mean I shouldn’t use my name as chris ludke on the new blog? should I go by Christine Ludke? I never wanted my user name to be sisterhoodofthemuse2.

  And can I ask another question? Is there an easy way to go from my blog to Freshly Pressed? Before, I could go to the wordpress “W” in the top left corner. now that link’s no longer there so I’ve been typing it in the tool bar.

  And if I change my user name, will my likes stop going to the empty sisterhoodofthemuse2 page and go to my new blog? Should I delete the sisterhoodofthemuse2 page?

  I advise you not to use your real name, but it’s your choice.

  If you change your username, your likes from that point on will go to the new blog.

  Don’t delete a shared blog.
