Please help me to map a domain
-
I have already purchased the hosting from Bluehost + domain from GoDaddy I followed all the instructions given here->(https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/) when I add the map a domain to the cart it also adds the hosting plan with it and says domain mapping is free with this plan and when I cancel the hosting plan which I don’t want It also cancels the map a domain from the checkout page.
It’s quite frustrating please help :)
Also adding the mini video what’s happening when I’m adding the map a domain to the cart!->https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AYyrXk870dE6I276wYHWSHU-gdC3g5CL/viewThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @advancehelpamerica!
To map your domain to WordPress.com, you’ll have to upgrade your account to Personal Plan or above. All WordPress .com plans are bundled with hosting space & it is not possible to exclude the same. The plans & pricing can be found here.
https://wordpress.com/pricing/Since WordPress.com plans include hosting space, your hosting account purchased with Bluehost cannot be used in combination with WordPress.com.
If you wish to setup your website/blog with WordPress.com, please register/upgrade your plan.
If you wish to maintain your website with Bluehost, you’ll be using the self-hosted version of WordPress. The support for self-hosted WordPress sites are handled at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. Please post a support request on WordPress.org forums. Folks there will help you to sort it out.
You can read more about the difference between WordPress.com & WordPress.org here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Have a nice day!

Hello there folks, this looks to be a duplicate topic which was already addressed here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/unable-to-map-a-domain-wordpress-is-being-pushy?replies=7#post-3060191
@advancehelpamerica hopefully @achyuthajoy additional explanation has made the differences between WordPress and WordPressdotcom clearer, but if you have any further questions, please post back in the thread I linked to rather than open new threads on the same topic. That makes it harder to track progress on an issue. Thanks.
@achyuthajoy just a kind reminder to please check the member’s profile page first to see if a thread is a duplicate and already answered or whether the Duplicate tag has been added to the Tags section in the sidebar. Thanks for your help here.
Closing this thread as a duplicate.
