Please help- problem on Commenting

  I have been trying to comment on own blog in response to somebody else but it is not updating! When I tried it again, I got the message-

  Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!

  I don’t see the comments at all!

  Three of us run the blog and all of us are in different cities. Could this be a problem?

  Please check to see what the settings are at Dashboard -> Options -> General and Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion -> the three check boxes underneith “Before a comment appears”

  i checked it and the only one that is checked is

  # Comment author must fill out name and e-mail

  I checked my akismet – spam and my comments were there! and so was one more which some chap had commented yesterday!

  “Unspammed” all of these comments.

  Weird.
