Please help: the images disappeared from one of my old posts

  Hello,

  The first two images seem to have disappeared from one of my old blog posts:
  http://meekrosoft.wordpress.com/2010/01/29/unit-test-embedded-software-in-3-easy-steps/

  It’s been a while, but it looks like the link for the images is from google docs. Have you had any experience with what might have happened?

  as you said those images are coming from a google docs link that no longer works; (I plugged the image URL – http://docs.google.com/File?id=dhnw293n_29gwhjffgf_b – of the first image into a browser and it returns a missing page)

  Unless you can fix the google link, I’d consider finding that image again and putting it into the Media Library of your theme and redoing the post

  Where are the images hosted?
  Are they in your Media Library and hosted on WordPress.com servers or not?
  Are they hosted on a third party image hosting site that allows hotlinking?
  Are they hosted on a third party site that does not allow hotlinking?
