Please Help! : Unable to add youtube video

  I have added youtube videos to my posts before by provided the url address. However, lately when I have been trying to add a youtube video, I am given the following message: “The file could not be uploaded because the file type is not supported.”

  Please help.

  Hi @arstiigal,

  Have you tried to use the shortcode?

  On the visual editor of your post, put the following

  [ youtube <em>URL of your Youtube video</em> ]

  Please not that the shortcode won’t give you a preview of the video in your editor, so you need to preview or publish the post to see how it looks.
