Please Help, Webcomic Plugin

Hi! My name is Liz. I’m trying to get a wordpress webcomic plugin configured onto my blog for webcomic purposes.

I’ve been watching video tutorials on the process but haven’t had much luck. I have been referring to this page http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/webcomic/installation/ for manual installation instructions, but they are hard to follow. For instance, where exactly is the ” /wp-content/plugins directory”? How do I access it? I am told to upload directories and such, without any explanation on how to do this.

Is there a special way I’m supposed to extract the plugin? I downloaded webcomic.3.0.4 and unzipped it in my downloads file, am I supposed to unzip it in a special place? Very confused, I feel like all the instructions I’ve been able to find are only half there, without giving guidance to non-advanced users.

Anyone on this forum have any experience with this? Please help, I’m a freelance illustrator just trying to make the best of my blog as possible for webcomic use, and to get my money’s worth. Thank you.
