I tried to pay but the screen shows that I am buying a blog instead of website , can you confirm I will be purchasing a website for my new business as I do not need a blog. I clicked website and not blog in the optiond but it still show blog listed at checkout. How do I attach a photo for you to see.Thanks heaps.

WordPress can do both, you can setup it as a blog or a website :)

Thanks for your reply. I only wanted a website, not a blog but the price appeared on item blog and not website ‘s. If I pay it does it mean I get both? So confused!

If I can give you a suggestion, you may want to get the Premium plan. It’s more suitable for your requirements for building a business website.

Thanks for your reply, I actually clicked on the Business Plan which is more expensive than Premium, but what I saw was a blog plus one free domain, I am not sure why they put a completeaccounts.blog when I wanted a website. What should I do?

I think you are talking about selecting a domain name.
You are getting a free premium domain name for the first year. If possible, you can select the .com TLD.But if you have your own domain name, you can click on “Use a domain I own”.

No what I meant was when I click on to select plan, the following comes up:
“Completeaccounts.wordpress.com ($33 per month = $396)
Completeaccounts.com free domain”But I only wanted completeaccounts.com to be my website and do not want my website to have the word “wordpress” attached to it.
How does this works?

Sorry I have a further question, if I use the free domain included in the plan( and not mapping another website ), does that mean visitors will see free domain website name and not the one that’s ending with wordpress.com too?

When you are in the step of choosing a premium domain name (custom domain) like: .com .net .org etc, people will see that premium domain name rather than the one that’s ending with WordPress.com
If you are using Free plan, your visitor will see like this: yourdomain.wordpress.com or yourdomain.home.blog
Please note: Your WordPress.com site’s URL can be edited later, while the custom domain you have purchased can not be edited later.

Sorry I have another question, does Business plan website have the option of costs estimates calculator already embedded in the plan? Eg adding several services and show price estimates to customers ?
Or do I have to use wordpress.org to have this feature?Thanks heaps!!

I guess cost estimates calculator and price estimates that you asking is a Plugins. You can browse the Plugins here: https://wordpress.org/plugins and add it to your site whether you are using a self-hosted WordPress.org or you are in Business plan.
