Please help with access to 2 factor locked account

I just want to recover my account. I can’t use acct recovery form because it needs the URL, but I can’t register a new domain because my email is already registered. The account may have an antique site related to it, but I don’t care about that. The need is around two new domains I am trying to add to wordpress.com.
This request is a follow up to a conversation I had with @wordpressdotcom on Twitter. My twitter is @Hipster_McTool.
The account I am trying to release is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I have password, but my Google Authenticator codes are being rejected, as are the backup codes I try. I can’t use SMS, because apparently I have a phone number I no longer have access to associated, because it is sent to a number ending in 39. This, I presume, is my old phone number [redacted], which I don’t have access to. As a result I have no way to recover this account even though I have the Authenticator and the backup Authenticator codes.
The account, BTW, I am using to post this, is not the account I need released. I created this account just to post this problem in the forum. Please let me know if I can provide more information or help. I can provide any authentication information needed to get this cleared up.

Hi @dottedeyellc, if you do not have enough information to use the account recovery form, there isn’t a lot we can do about recovering that old account as we have strict guidelines about what we can accept for validation.
Can you just use this account that you have created and then set up the sites and buy the upgrades on this account and use the email address you used to create this account?

I do have enough information.
I have the Google Authentication (wordpress.com says the codes are invalid)
I have the google Authentication backup codes (wordpress.com says they’re invalid)
I have have the registered email and passwordIt just won’t let me past the 2 factor, and the registered cell phone is no longer accessible.
I really don’t want to use this new registered account, as this is not my primary email address, and if something happens to this address, the entire account is jacked again.
All I need to to provide some validation so you know this is my account, removal of 2 factor or a change of the registered cell phone number. I am happy to provide any information or sign some affidavit swearing it is me. I just need my gmail account on wordpress.com unlocked. Any help is appreciated.

Do you happen to have the WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us?
Please try and find that email and let us know when you do to proceed with the recovery process.

Unfortunately, that isn’t available. I looked and there is nothing regarding that in my gmail account.

Just for clarity, I was trying my other wordpress.com login, which is why the last bit was from simplygreg and not dottedeyellc. Sorry for any confusion.
