Please help with better mobile theme options

    I have a very basic WP theme running on my blog right now. The mobile version is very simple and you have to scroll all the way to the last post before you see the “sign up for my blog” box (desktop sign up box is very visible). At the suggestion of bluehost, I just tried goMobi, but I think that is more geared towards a full mobile website. I think I just need a new custom theme that has more mobile functions or is more mobile friendly? Can anyone confirm that’s how I fix this and if so, please point me in the right direction for suggestions? Thanks
