please help with downgrading plan

i have tried your self- help articles but can’t find a way to downgrade my plan, please help. I want to confirm that I will still have the email address that I pay for (email visible only to moderators and staff) and that I will still have No Ads.

Hi there, sure, we can help with that.
Firstly, the email subscription is tied to the domain you purchased, so as long as you keep that domain, and renew the email subscription, it will continue to work.
Which plan are you wanting to downgrade to, and are you wanting monthly or yearly billing on the new plan?
With the Business Plan, you have the ability to use plugins and third-party themes, and you will not have that ability on the Personal or Premium Plans.
I see you have a Google Analytics plugin. On the Premium plan we do have a provision so that you can use Google Analytics.
I also see you have installed the Yoast SEO plugin. You will lose the use of that if you downgrade, but WordPress.com has great SEO even without SEO plugins.
If you would be so kind, can I ask why you are wanting to downgrade? We are always interested in user feedback to help us improve, but no pressure if you do not want to say.

thanks for your prompt reply, I am okay to lose those plugins. I would like to go ahead and downgrade the mmcounselling.ca website I am doing so because it is too costly for me to maintain the other plan and honestly I don’t use the features.

I’ve checked your site and found that you are currently using the Barnsbury theme. This theme is indeed free and available on all of our plans, including the Free plan. This means that even after you downgrade from the Business plan, you’ll still be able to keep your current theme.
Please remember that while your theme will remain the same, some of the advanced customization features and plugins available under the Business plan will not be accessible in the lower plans.
Also, if you’ve made up your mind about downgrading, could you please confirm the plan you’d like to move to?

Awesome. No problem. I have finished up downgrading your site and account to the premium plan. Please let me know if you see anything odd or have questions. All of your media and content should still exist on the new version.
The premium plan is C120. I sent a manual payment for C75 which is removing what you’ve already paid for the monthly business plan C45.
