Please help with using panoramic header feature in Sidekick theme

Using Sidekick theme and trying to use the panoramic header photo feature. My photo is 1500 x 469 and no matter what I do, it uploads and then sets itself to a small 480 x 150 photo.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think this is happening because your image is a little shorter than the ratio wants. It says to have a ratio of 3:1, so for a width of 1500px, your image should be 500 px tall.

Can you try with an image that’s 1500×500 and let me know if that works?

That worked, yeah! Thank you so much.

So I made sure the image was ALREADY 1500×500 before uploading, and that made a difference.

    PLUS:
    – I removed the Header Image in the Customize mode.
    – Made the post a Sticky one.
    – Then did Set Featured Image and selected the .jpeg file.

The panoramic works as the Featured Image, not as the Header Image. If only the support page for Sidekick Theme had all this info, it would have saved me an hour or two!

Great! I’ll make sure the info page for Sidekick is updated. :)

Let me know if I can help with anything else.
