Please, How to Add Three Page Below Front Page Title like Sela Demo ?
-
Hi, please help me, in Sela demo, i see three page below front page title which are full width page, grid page, and default template, how to make like that ? I really need your answer, please.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

They are the 3 text widgets with an image and some text.
Once Sela is activated, go to Appearance > Widgets and add a text widget each to First, Second and Third Front Page Sidebars.
Make sure each text widget has an image and some text. And Page Template is set to Front Page.
You can read more about this Sela theme support document.
Please try this and let me know if you are able to replicate the demo site look :-)

Hi wasiquilfir and WP experts
How do I get the “call to action” – the excerpt showing in the text box on the image on my home page (using the Front Page template as my static page) – to be clean like it’s on wasiquilfir’s website and Sela demo?
Mine is showing the sharing and like buttons ruining the whole look https://artikulateprojects.wordpress.com
Thank you in advance :-)

@ majaobucina,
As it says in the center of the feature front page image in the Sela demo,
This is the content of the front page. This is great place to add your call to action or any other brief message. To add an image behind this text, use the Featured Image of the page.
The “call to action” is not an excerpt. It’s the title and the content of the page assigned as the front page at Reading Settings, and assigned to a front page template at Page Attributes. The content or the page will display, there so you’ll have to keep it reasonably short. If you put an image in the content, you’ll have an image displayed within the feature image.

Hi musicdoc1 – thanks so much for your prompt reply.
You’re right, I know and I did everything you say but the share & like buttons are still showing in the little box – if you go my blog you’ll see what I mean https://artikulateprojects.wordpress.com
and yet when you look at the Sela demo the same box is clean without any share/like buttons http://selademo.wordpress.com/

I have, I’ve done that too – in the screen options drop down menu in the top right corner of the editor – but still nothing :-(
-
Sorry, meant to add – there’s nothing for shares & likes at the bottom of my page editor, just in the screen options drop down menu at the top.
-
Found it! It was in Settings > Sharing > Show buttons on and then I unticked pages
Phew! :-)
Thanks so much for being so quick to respond though – have a fab Thursday! :-)
-
It was in Settings > Sharing > Show buttons on and then I unticked pages
That’s the way to go if you want to disable sharing buttons on every page. But what if you only want to disable it on selected pages? The same goes for Likes.
there’s nothing for shares & likes at the bottom of my page editor
You can allow the “Likes and Shares” module, which has boxes that you can check or uncheck, to be displayed in the page editor at screen options. When allowed at screen options, the “Likes and Shares” module appears by default below the page editor window near the bottom of the page. However, since these modules can be moved around freely, it could be anywhere below the window or in the right sidebar area.

HELP!! PLEASE!!
I am new to the blogging world and trying to get into it, I have the Sela theme downloaded and I cannot figure out how to use some aspects of it. I am looking to have many categories such as “Home page” “About Page” “Lifestyle” and “Photography”. I have added these to the main header but when I click on the link to it, it just gives me the option edit that page…I would like to post many things under each header!I really hope my question makes sense, I would love some feedback from you guys!! Thanks!!

When you say ” I have the Sela theme downloaded”, I presume you activated Sela theme from your WordPress.com Dashboard > Appearance > Themes.
As you said you are new to blogging, I recommend you learn WordPress.com at https://learn.wordpress.com/
This awesome tutorial will equip you with everything you need to know about blogging on WordPress.com.

Hi Molly – it looks like you have activated Sela on your WordPress.com site here: https://mollyrubell.wordpress.com/
It sounds like perhaps you’re trying to make drop-down menus that display sub-menu items? If that’s the case, check out this guide to creating menus, including the video walk-through:
I also recommend the beginner’s guide to WordPress.com that chaitanyamsv pointed you to above – it’s a great way to start learning the basics.
