  Database connection error
  This means that the instructions and password in the wp-config.php file are correct or you cannot contact a database server in localhost. The hosting company’s database server may be inactive.

  Are you sure the username and password are correct?
  Are you sure you typed the database server correctly?
  Are you sure the database server is running?
  If you’re not sure what these terms mean, you probably need to contact your hosting provider. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forum.

  I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
