Please I need help to remove comment box

  Am having big challenges removing the comment box on my front page in the HEMINGWAY REWRITTEN theme. I disabled the box “comments” in screen settings several times now, it keeps coming back. I also changed me settings into ‘No comments allowed’, but the box is still there! I will be glad to receive help from you

  Hello!

  You’ll want to make that change on that Page itself – you can access it through your Dashboard, under “Pages,” or directly from the front end, using the Edit link at the bottom – here it is:

  On the Edit Page screen, you’ll want to unclick the “Allow Comments” box, here:

  the comment come as leave a reply.It because theme is free or I did not have custom domain

  By default, new blogs on WordPress.com will have the Discussion hidden. You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

  You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.
