@Gunill
I am confused. Do you wish to change the language that you blog in on your wordpress.com blog from English to Swedish. If so then that has nothinbg to do with the tranlastion widget posts.If that’s what you want to do then changing the language in your wordpress.com blog is done here > Dashboard > Settings > General
Select Swedish form the menu > Language this blog is primarily written in.
You can also modify the interface language in your profile. -
Please!
Why will not this string stay in my sidebar WP. I will have translate scrollbar from Swdish to other language.
Thank yoy //Gunilla<div id=”google_translate_element”></div><script>
function googleTranslateElementInit() {
new google.translate.TranslateElement({
pageLanguage: ‘sv’
}, ‘google_translate_element’);
}
</script><script src=”//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit”></script> -
The code you copied-pasted above does not work because there is JavaScript in it. JavaScript is not allowed on WordPress.COM:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/If you go to the link I gave you earlier and change langpair=en… for langpair=sv…, it should indicate Google that the source language is Swedish.
