  PLEASE – I wish to cancel the authentication code method for my blog. It is not for me. I get into trouble with this. I put a code once and then it does not work and also I now cannot access my blog on my phone. Help!!!! let me back to my life blogging without this code. Thank you!

  You should be able to disable the two-factor authentication by visiting your security settings page and clicking the ‘deactivate’ button:
