Please (I'm begging), please enable java script on wordpress.com

  Please enable java script on WordPress.com!! I’m a food blogger and would like to use Linky Tools and have the actual thumbnails show up on my website (maidinak.com) instead of having it be hosted on the Lynky Tools site. I would even pay an upgrade fee in order to be able to have java script enabled.

  This is from the Linky Tools site:
  “Blogs hosted for free on WordPress.com do NOT allow JAVASCRIPT which is the technology that allows a blog to pull data from other sources like Linky Tools. This is a limitation set by WordPress.com and there is nothing we (or a host of other tools) can do about it.

  If they ever change this policy, we will immediately make code available to put the linky lists directly on your blog. However, you CAN do something about it…

  Get your own hosted Wordpres blog. No, it’s not scary but yes, it might cost you about $5 a month. At hosting services like GoDaddy, you can purchase a WordPress Hosting account and they set the whole thing up for you. By owning your hosted blog, you have much more control and give yourself the ability to use JAVASCRIPT services like Linky Tools directly in your blog posts instead of needing this extra page.”

  PLEASE enable it!! I really DON’T want to have to switch to wordpress.org (I’ve already moved my blog around enough and am really hoping I can keep it where it’s at at wordpress.com)!

  What you are asking for is no going to happen. This in a multiuser blogging platform. What that means is a single incident of bad script could bring down many blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ Self hosted wordpress.org sites are free standing and any bad script brings down a single site. Why javascript is a security risk

  I see. Thank you, although WordPress says, “JavaScript from trusted partners, such as YouTube and Google Video, is converted into a WordPress shortcode when a post is saved.”

  I wish the same could be considered for Linky Tools??!

  Once Linky Tools has as many users as Google Maps and YouTube, they’ll consider it.

  you can not find java itself without any help of people in this stand-alone, make your life as easy as not to complicate his own expectations
