Please look at my page
-
Will someone PLEASE tell me what I have done to my page and why it looks like this? I was asking about the “more” tags and finally figured it out. I spaced it properly and followed all the rules but ever since I used them my entire page looks crazy.
-
Sorry I wasn’t specific lol. The font is HUGE, the first post has WAY too much of a gap between the content and the link, stuff overlaps, it all just looks distorted.

You have pasted, either from Word or from elsewhere on the Web. Just copy the text contents of that post and click to the HTML editor and paste them in there instead of what you have. Add the picture back in then.
Here is why not to paste from Word:
and here is how to do it safely IF YOU MUST:

The sidebar should now be back – I removed several HTML tags that were causing the issues (all added by copying and pasting). We do recommend that you add content directly into your visual editor (or at least transfer from a rich text editor, such as NotePad).

Ok yeah I did copy and paste from word. I am probably really dumb for this but I see no way to change the font or anything when typing. I spent like 30 minutes trying to get my picture up there. So I guess I will stay away from copy and pasting from word now lol. Thank you all!

Also by linking your name to your blog it will serve two purposes…
(1) When you leave a comment on some one elses blog there readers will be able to find & read your blog…
(2) If you need to ask a support question in the forum then it will make it easier for the volunteers to see what blogging platform your using & will aide them in giving you a more accurate answer to your issue… How to link your name to your blog

But how does that apply when I have two blogs?
Also, I did download the Windows Live Writer and I really like it. I just don’t like the fact that I can’t highlight text….or maybe I can but I don’t see how.
You all sound like you know alot about this. So can anyone reccomend a good site that can assist with customizing? I want a new theme but don’t like the themes that don’t allow me to customize my headr…. Does anyone know of some REALLY good themes that I could personalize more to my style?

@shesthinking, then you will always have to make sure and include a link to the blog you are talking about. In most cases, if we cannot see the blog, then we can only make guesses.
-
If you are talking about having someone “hack” the CSS for one of the themes here, perhaps post something in the CSS customization forum.
-
OK, one more. Also do realize that modifying the CSS will only effect the “look” of the blog, not the functionality.

@shesthinking, if by “highlighting” you mean having some text in a different color, you can use this code (in the html post editor):
<span style="color:#HEX_NUMBER_HERE">TEXT_HERE</span>
And if you mean a background color to some text:
<div style="background-color:#HEX_NUMBER_HERE;">TEXT_HERE</div>For hex color numbers see (among others):
