Please reactivate my blog!!!

You suspended it for no reason. You didn’t even give me the benefit of a warning! I have not violated any terms of service.

Could you please contact our Terms of Service team?

I’ve contacted the team but the email address has been rejected. You’re amazing! Deactivate my blog. Give me an email address to contact which is obviously fake. What is the matter with you people? I am telling all my contacts to avoid WordPress.

I request that you put a temporary redirect on my blog to a new blog I started for the moment? It’s the least you can do. The url is http://anneinpt.blog.com

This is the error message I get from your email:

    Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (state 14).

I think WordPress has been hacked.

This was the content of my email that you rejected:

My blog (Anne’s Opinions, url above) has been suspended without any warning for allegedly not complying with terms of service. I have not violated one single term of service or condition of use at all.

    I do not spam.
    I do not advertise.
I do not promote affiliate links, get rich quick programs, banner ads,
I do not consist solely or mostly of duplicate or automatically generated material,
and I’m definitely not part of a search engine marketing campaign

I have put in 9 months of hard work and just yesterday reached 25,000 page views. And then you go and ruin all my hard work with not a word of warning or even a way of contacting you.

I am completely stuck, and now, being Jewish, I am heading into the festival of Rosh Hashanah and will be offline in 10 hours time for 3 whole days. I don’t want you to forget about fixing my problem (that you caused) just because you don’t hear from me.

I have tried resending the email to your seemingly non-existent terms of service team and I get this reply once more:

    Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (state 14).

I’ve just forwarded your message to our Terms of Service team. I apologize for the mistake and any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thank you. Hopefully we’ll get this up and running today. If the blog gets reactivated, hopefully, and it happens after 5 p.m. my time (GMT +3), will the reactivation be able to wait until Saturday night my time, after our festival of Rosh Hashana is over?

  • They’ll get back to you as soon as possible, but I can’t exactly say when that will be.

Thanks for your reply. As soon as my message was forwarded to the correct email address on Wednesday, my blog was up and running again within a couple of hours.

I think an email address to contact for urgent help would be most appreciated by wordpress bloggers. It is so frustrating to feel that you only have a support forum to contact.

Also the help forum itself is clumsy and complicated. This contact page was itself very hard to find, after wading through all the various forums.
