donncha: Sorry to keep this thread going, but I just updated the page “Bible Study Tools”, which had been listed as “published”, and which I could access from the home page, but now it’s listed as “draft”, and I can’t access it anymore from the home page – it dropped off the “Pages” module in the sidebar: all that’s showing is “About” and “Christian Directories”…???

Hi there,
I’m having a problem with the Blix 0.9.1 theme. My pages aren’t showing up as tabs across the top, and I’m positive that this was working before. They show up in other themes.
Is this upgrade related?

nosysnoop: Yup! Regulus and Connections both work (and probably others, but I didn’t check them all). I like Blix though. Please bring my pages back when you get a chance. :)

Hmmm. Only one page shows up (my MySpace page). But not my other pages that showed up on tabs next to where it says “Home”. I also used Blix.

And when I checked where we manage our pages, it only showed my MySpace page and not the others.

I wonder if I’m being hacked. I had so many problems at Blogger. More so than my friend’s Blogger blogs. That’s why I left Blogger. But I have alot of enemies and I wonder if I was being hacked. I’ve heard of other entertainment sites and fan sites being hacked in the past couple of months.

My pages are gone as well. They don’t even show up in my dashboard. I tested creating a new page; it shows up in dashboard, but isn’t accessible however.
Regular posts behave normal though.
As posted before, it would be useful to display a status warning in the dashboard bar. Hope the upgrade goes well…
edit: I use the Connections theme v1.0

Same problem with pages here .. My ‘About Us’ page exists in the DashBoard but does not show up on the front page of the blog.. I’ve tried creating new pages but they still don’t show up on the front page.
Could this be due to the upgrading? Or did I do something wrong? (I’m using Ocadia 1.1)
I’ve tried switching to other themes but they don’t show too..
Any help would be appreciated … thanks!

Hi from Bologna, ITALY! I’ve got some problems on my Blog from yesterday ( for example, I can see two of my pages only in ‘Page Management’ window, but their status appears ‘Draft’ and it seems not possible to save them).
I already read other posts, and I know that other members have problems like mine. So I believe you’re working about that, but what about the previous time for resolving?

is there any chance in future someone from WordPress can say how long – or at least a rough indication – a “major upgrade” is going to take? It’s all getting very boring!

I think we should show support and respect to their efforts, and be patient. As of now it seems categories are gone on some blogs, but it’s only a question of time until they’re back, I’m sure. If they’re in the course of a global major upgrade, maybe we want to wait until they’re done to express more personal issues. As was already stated, they’re humans, not robots.

This is the advice my husband the geek gave me. It’s a fairly new program, it’s exactly what I need, so chill out and leave it alone for a few days and let them get the bugs worked out.

Thank God! And I thought it’s just my blog (we’ve seen problems unique to individual blogs — now isn’t that weird? Considering the amount of work the admins have to undergo with so many blogs already out there on wordpress.com).
