Please reconsider your terrible new ad policy
-
I took a look at my page today and and was deeply disturbed by the new ad regime you have instituted, in which ads one cannot get rid of now dot the entirety of a blog post/essay. It was bad enough when they got plastered to the ends of our posts, but to find them between every other paragraph is cheap, incredibly distracting and, frankly, insulting. I write this blog because I AM A WRITER. My words matter to me, and I want them to be seen by others. Who can read an essay with a half-dozen advertisements for cheap garbage (for which I receive not one penny) plastered all over it? Are you TRYING to drive readers and writers from your site? This author will very soon become a former WordPress writer if you do not reconsider this insulting and degrading move.

Howdy,
I hear you. But it’s important to remember that Free WordPress.com sites aren’t free for us to provide and thus they come with various limitations such as ads being displayed.
The easiest way to solve this issue would be to step up to the WordPress.com Personal plan which includes a number of additional features not included in the limited Free plan. Not the least of which is the removal of all ads.
