Please remove a file from the cache memory of WordPress.com
-
Hi! I removed the following files named:
https://typavideocv.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/cv_heidi-matkur.pdf
https://typavideocv.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/heidi-matkur.jpgfrom the media library of WordPress.com.
However, they are still found from the Google search, because they are assumably still in the cache memory of WordPress.com.
Could you please remove them from the cache and additionally, from Google search results?Thank you,

I’ve tagged this for Staff to help with removal of those two files since I am also able to access them via the links.
But Staff will not be able to help you remove the cached files from Google or any other web crawler that has indexed your site. Google will remove them on the next crawl, but if you cannot wait for that, you will have to request file removal directly from Google. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

And I can still access both files in FireFox (I used Chrome earlier), so there’s caching going on somewhere.

@rootjosh-
Just now, I:
logged out of WPcom,
cleared Chrome’s cache and cookies,
shut down browser,
cleared my computer’s temporary files and temporary internet files.Reopened Chrome,
did not log in to WP.com,
browsed to this forum thread
and was able to access both those files using the above links. So they’re cached somewhere!

I’ve given the file shredder a kick and these should be gone now.
Can you both check again when you get a chance? Thanks.
