Please remove all domain mapping from rivercityrollergirls.org

We’ve purchased square space, and mapped it from GoDaddy.com, and we are still getting this error message when trying to go to rivercityrollergirls.org:

Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

Which leads us back to ‘renewing’ with wordpress. We don’t want word press. I’ve undone on the things on wordpress. Square Space shows it correctly mapping from GoDaddy. GoDaddy shows it correctly mapping, but I’m getting the redirect to renew with wordpress and I’ve been dealing with this issue for five hours!

    This is not Squarespace support.
    This is not GoDaddy support.
You are posting to the wrong support forum.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/

Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack

However, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Thank you for your condescending response. I understand that WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different organizations and companies. I can read the webpage showing in my browser is en.forums.Wordpress.com and not godaddy.com or squarespace.com, and I also know this because both GoDaddy and SquareSpace have live chats as well as a phone number I can get live support instead of a forum.

In addition, I’ve utilized the customer support chat option for both GoDaddy and SquareSpace. They say everything on their end is working just fine, and that if it’s redirecting to WORDPRESS.COM it must be something with WordPress.com. If this was more than a forum I’d post pictures showing the redirect from the error to WordPress.com, and if I continue to receive condescending “help” I’ll just record the redirects and show all the chat from the other websites CS that show it is an issue with WORDPRESS.com and tweet it to you.

  • I am seeing rivercityrollergirls.org point correctly to your new website.

It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.

Me too and I am in Canada.

    @rivercityrollergirlsrva
You can view the DNS changes here > https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/rivercityrollergirls.org
Know that it is not uncommon for your own ISP to be last to flush their DNS cache. Please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies and try again.
