please remove images from photon
-
I stopped using my blog (moved to self hosting) and made the old one (rosemarycottageclinic.wordpress.com) private a few years ago.
However, it appears that some images remain accessible via photon (image addresses start io.wp…)
For copyright reasons I want to remove all of these cached images. Is that possible now I have deleted all media from my (old) wordpress.com account? Or will it happen automatically?

Hi there,
image addresses start io.wp
This usually comes from Jetpack’s CDN, which is used to speed up the images on your site and in any Jetpack galleries you’re using. They aren’t from your old account. Your old account would start with files.rosemarycottageclinic.wordpress.com, and none of the images there would be publicly accessible if the site is private.
If you’re not using those Jetpack features anymore, please send the io.wp URLs for the images you need to remove, and we’ll get those cleared from the system.
