Please remove my mapped domain from ceodeineslebens.wordpress.com

  Hello, how can I remove the mapped domain (mydomain.com) within mydomain.wordpress.com.

  I want to install and work with wordpress on a third party hosting provider and get redirect to mydomain.wordpress.com due to this mapping.

  Hi there,

  Is the issue that you do not currently own marvellous.es?

  When I check the .es registry I see that marvellous.es is “available” for purchase.

  You can confirm by searching for marvellous.es here: https://www.dominios.es/dominios/en/busca-tu-dominio

  You did not mention who your new host is, but did you check to see if you can purchase marvellous.es through them directly? Hope this helps!

  That’s correct. The domain was mine and decided not to renew when it expired last september. Is it necessary to re-buy it to release my blog?

  If you let your domain expire, you basically give up your rights to it. Your blog is back to the free domain, so the post you mentioned can be found under https://unblogmarvellous.wordpress.com/2020/11/19/la-moda-de-pandemia/.

  If your idea is to get back the custom domain, you will need to register it back, yes. But if you just want to continue with your free blog, then all you have to do is update the links you’re sharing with others to display the free subdomain instead: https://unblogmarvellous.wordpress.com.
