In the future you will be able to delete self hosted WordPress.ORG sites from your WordPress.COM account yourself. At present Staff must do this for you.

WordPress.com sites do not need Jetpack disconnections.

The site you mention is not being deleted because it has a domain upgrade attached to it. We do not allow deletion of sites with domains attached to ensure you do not lose access to the domain.

If you’d like help transferring that upgrade to another WordPress.com site, or transferring that domain name to another registrar, please contact us through the contact form here:
