Please resend new account confirmation email

Hi Support,
I’m currently logged in with my personal email/account.
I’m working on making a site under the domain protectnwoly.wordpress.com with the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff)
During the registration process, I got to the page where WordPress said it had sent me a confirmation email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) — But that email never arrived (not in spam, trash, social, promotions, no where).
Please resend it.
Also, many other websites offer a resend option on that page that tells you go check your email. … Just a suggestion?

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account. You can create one gravatar for every username account that applies to all blogs registered under the same username account and email address.

I’m using my personal account email address and username which is already registered with WordPress, solely in order to ask a question on the forum.
Otherwise I’m working with an organization more or less as their webmaster, and all of that is under a different email adress and different account and username, — but it didnt register properly so I cant use that account to ask the questions here in the forums..

Yes and Staff will eventually answer all threads tagged for their assistance p[rior to this one being tagged. Then they will respond to this thread. Please be patient while waiting.

If you are not referring to a wordpress.com hosted site that you registered under your own username account under ie. soundreading then what I posted is, in fact, relevant.

I dont understand how it’s relevant.. I mean the first part of what you posted specifically: it’s all about how a account has a sole owner, not that a sole owner can run only one account. There’s a difference. I don’t want to use this account to run the organization’s account. I don’t want to change the email on this account. Nor do I want to change the username on this account. — I can be the sole owner of this account and also the sole owner of the other account, there’s no contradiction there. What it’s saying I can’t do is have multiple owners of one account. Which is not what I want anyway.

For example, I have multiple gmails and multiple bandcamps for multiple bands that I manage, just like anyone has multiple accounts if they are in charge of running that stuff for multiple businesses, organizations, etc — I’m still the sole owner of each one..

Thanks do much for waiting patiently for Staff assistance. Do understand that they will need to know:
1. The exact URL starting with http:// of the wordpress.COM hosted site you refer to.
2. And, exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered that site.

Okay, that’s the thing is those things don’t exist… yet, because the activation email was never received.
However, if I try to go through the “sign up” process again it just instantly redirects me to the page where it says that the activation email has already been sent and I should go to my inbox and look for it.

Hi there,
Before we can send out an activation email the account first needs to be created, and it doesn’t look like that has happened yet. I also don’t see in the logs that we sent anything to that email address.
Can you please try the following:
Log out of this account with the username soundreading, and clear your browser cache and cookies. (If you have Google Chrome on your computer, you can just use an incognito window in Chrome instead.)
Then go to https://wordpress.com/start/ and try the signup process again.
It could be that your browser did not log you out completely last time before you tried creating the new account. Clearing cookies/incognito mode should prevent that.
Let me know if you need more help with this.
