Please Reset the importation process

It seems the importation process is stuck, it’s been more than 50 hours now. Can you please reset it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello locaportulook,
The WordPress.com staff can reset the import for you. I will tag this thread with modlook to flag it for their attention.
Also note, there is a 15MB limit on uploaded import files. If yours is bigger than that, please try exporting posts in smaller groups (like ranges of dates) to make the individual file sizes smaller.
Good luck and take care!

Hi there,
I’ve reset the importer for you.
I see the file you tried to import is almost 45MB. We have a limit of 15MB on import files, so you won’t be able to import a file that large over here.
From what site are you importing? If it’s a self-hosted WordPress site, first go through the comments and delete any comments that are spammy or low-quality as that can greatly inflate an export file.
Then try exporting it incrementally instead, exporting just a few months’ worth of posts at a time. However, note that this will prevent media files that aren’t attached to specific posts or pages from being transferred during import, and you’ll need to transfer those manually.
Another option is to use an XML splitter app to split your import file into smaller pieces. There are a few options available if you search online.

Hello Kokkieh,
thanks for the tips, I have been doing research this weekend and seen how I the first import was set to fail. I have now 12,5 mb .xml files
Sorry to bother you again but I think the importer isn’t reset, does it take some time to come effective? I continue to see the revolving clock…
Thank you,
Diego

Ah, sorry about that. There’s an issue where the importer in Settings get stuck even if there’s no import in progress. We’re working on it, but meanwhile you should still be able to use the importer in the WP-Admin dashboard to import your files:
