Please restore the old posting method, or at least the option for using it!

    The new “beep beep boop” method is not working for me. I can’t scroll down far enough to finish the post, or to edit what I’ve written…it is horrible!

    Hi – please provide an option to lock in the Classic style editor, so that I don’t have to try to get out of the new one when it pops up.

    The new one just doesn’t work very well for me. Specifically, the small system fonts, high-contrast colour scheme, and the lack of visibility of options make it harder to work with.

    The older colour scheme and larger layout font size, and the layout with extensive options clearly listed down the left side of the page, worked very well for me. Less eye-strain, less sense that I’m having to hunt for the options I need.

    I might add, the smaller fonts and high-contrast colour scheme are also an annoyance on the new stats page – I found the old one very effective, and would like to have a way to lock in my preference for it.

    I realize that this for me is a low-cost service, and I appreciate the spirit of innovation and improvement – over the years a lot of things have become much better. However, these particular innovations aren’t as effective as the previous setup.

    I’d rather spend my time actually writing and blogging, than having to adapt to awkward changes in the blogging software.

    Please allow us to lock in the old editor. It’s very aggravating to try to edit a post from the main page and be taken to the new editor when i can’t even see the things I want to change on that editor. Really frustrating.

    How to find the classic editor:

    Go to “My Sites” at the top left of the page, click on “WP Admin”. Scroll down on the sidebar on the left-hand side of the dashboard, find “Posts”, hover over that and choose “Add New” to make a new post, or “All Posts” to edit older posts.
