Please set your primary site to valid site;

I cannot access my dashboard or any of my posts. I keep getting an alert saying “Please set your primary site to valid site” with an option to go to the settings, but it won’t let me change any of the settings. Please help!
(I am new to WordPress and blogging, so please give simple, clear directions for how to fix this)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey ajharders!
If you go to https://wordpress.com/me/account there should be a drop down in the middle of the page titled Primary Site. Click this drop down and select your site, then click Save Account Settings. From there you should be good to go!
I hope this helped, let us know if that page gives you any issues or if the alert keeps popping up. -
I’m having the same issue. When trying to set the Primary Site, it won’t allow me to select anything and just says “No sites found”. Site: http://gbsouthaustin.com.

This error message got me worried. I saw @toddlessons way out to the problem so I logged out, visited my website and from the “meta” option on bellareadblog.wordpress.com, I logged in from there and it was all good. Back to normal! I hope it works for you.

@gbsouthaustin your above site is not hosted here on WordPressdotcom. For assistance with your standalone WP site, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username there, you can register one on that page.
Standalone WP (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities with separate documentation and support forums; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

@shawnasaidso Hi there, it appears that you purchased a WordPressdotcom upgrade plan for shawnasaidso.com and are eligible to receive direct Support here https://wordpress.com/help/contact as long as you are logged in with the username account that purchased the upgrade. They’ll be able to help sort you out.
