Hi there, Sorry to hear you were having an issue logging in to your WPcom account. However, you’ve posted to a public forum. I’ve removed your contact information from your post above so you don’t have cold calls from people claiming to be from WPcom. As it says in our support contact form, “Please do not provide financial or contact information when submitting this form.” Thanks.
If you need to update your WPcom account information in your profile, please head to https://wordpress.com/me/account and update the information in the related page. I also recommend using an email address for you account that isn’t connected to your domain in case there is an issue with it at some point.
Let us know if you need any other information.

Hi there,
Only you can make changes to the two-step authentication settings for your account, including updating the phone number. We have no way of knowing if your number changes and you no longer have access to the one you have on file.
I still see the phone number ending in 5400 on your account as both your two-step authentication phone number, and your account recovery phone number.
Please update the two-step number as explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#moving-to-a-new-device
Make sure to generate and print out a new set of recovery codes to have as a backup.
And you can update the account recovery phone number at https://wordpress.com/me/security/account-recovery/
Note that the account recovery phone number should not be the same as the two-step phone number, as the whole point of having a recovery number is so that you have an alternative number where you can receive login codes if the codes to the primary number isn’t going through.

Of course the best option is to use a mobile app or a physical key, so you’re not dependent on a phone number that can change or go out of range/service ;)
-
It is. If you’re logged into the mobile app with the same account you’re logging into on the web, you should get a PUSH notification to verify your login if you have 2FA enabled. That is, unless they removed that at some point…
