Some time ago, I created whengoodmendonothing.wordpress.com , but didn’t know it still existed until a few days ago. I also recently created whengoodmendonothingcom.wordpress.com , but the “com” was an error on my part.

I’m not sure, but I may have successfully deleted the whengoodmendonothing.wordpress.com account, but if I did, that URL is still brings the site up and showing a “MistyLook Theme.” This is the only URL I want to have now. Don’t want the when~com.wordpress.com any more.

I tried to change the when~com.wordpress.com to whengoodmendonothing.wordpress.com (eliminating the “com” part), but it tells me that URL is already taken. Please tell me how I can best adjust to have only the one site “whengoodmendonothing.wordpress.com

Also please tell me what I would have to do to not have .wordpress.com in my URL, but only whengoodmendonothing.com , which I have registered at godaddy.com. Not sure I could do that right away, but in the not-too-distant future, depending on what it would cost. Thank you so much for your help.

    Hey there,

The reason you are having trouble accessing whengoodmendonothing.wordpress.com is because it is currently under a different account than the one you are contacting us from. In order to gain access to that site, you must be logged into the username/account connected to the URL. Do you remember having a different account?

Also please tell me what I would have to do to not have .wordpress.com in my URL, but only whengoodmendonothing.com , which I have registered at godaddy.com.

You will need to map the domain over to your WordPress.com site and change the nameservers over at GoDaddy to point over to WordPress.com. Instructions on how to do both can be found here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
