Please unlock a domain

    Please advise – I need to transfer a domain for one of my clients which is currently mapped to a wordpress site – I am advised the WHOIS is private and the domain is locked – can you please tell me how to unlock and make the WHOIS public so I can transfer thanks

    Hi there,

    I’ll need to know what the domain is, please. And if the domain was registered through us, only the username account that currently owns it can initiate a transfer. Not even I can initiate a transfer on a domain owner’s behalf.

    If the domain is not registered with us but only mapped here, you need to contact the registrar where the domain is registered for help with a transfer.
