Please verify [domain name]

  Hello, I’m getting the “Please verify [domain name]” message that accompanies registration of a new site. The thing is that I’m not actually seeing an email that would allow me to verify my contact information.

  I did get an email asking me to activate my general WordPress account (headed with “Welcome to WordPress.com. Please click the button below to confirm your email address and activate your account,” but clicking the link in that email hasn’t made the message go away. If that was the correct email, is there just a bit of latency or something?

  Discounting that possibility, what would the specified email actually be titled and is it possible to have it resent if I didn’t receive it?

  Hey there, no, there’s an email from us and a separate one for the domain verification.

  And that email might not actually say it’s from WordPress specifically, so could you search your email for anything that contains gameguides.ninja in it?

  You’ll want to search spam and bulk folders too. So in Gmail for example, that might look like this:

  in:all gameguides.ninja

  Let us know if you don’t see it there!
