Please verify Email etc does not appear to be working

  I seem unable to do anything with my site because the following message keeps ‘popping up’ ”Please Verify Your Email AddressIn order to publish posts, please verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email that we sent to ………
  Resend confirmation email | Send to another email address”
  When I click on either of these options, no email is received. However, when I try to go to ”Send to another address” nothing happens.

  Hi there. Please check if the email isn’t perhaps winding up in your spam filter. If you use Gmail you should also check the Social tab in the inbox, as WordPress.com emails often get redirected there. If you still can’t find it, let us know and we’ll tag this for staff to follow up.
