Pls help!! Resizing the layout to fit in any browser
-
Hi, I would LOVE some assistance with this issue.
I am currently using the Twenty Eleven theme and have now got to point where I am ready to launch my blog. The only issue is the layout, it appears that the theme I have chosen has a fixed width, meaning it doesn’t resize to fit with the browser and looks ridiculous in a minimised screen, and on ipads and mobile devices.
Is there any way I can get my blog to dynamically resize depending on the browser size without starting from scratch in a new theme?
Is there an add-on I can buy or any tips to fix this?
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Twenty eleven is a reactive design which means it will resize to whatever the browser window width is. It will even downsize the text of the title for smaller screens. This is of course unless you have done a bunch of CSS editing and killed the reactive design.

To the the theme demo page and resize your browser window and see for yourself.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I have a logo (image) on top of the background that gets lost behind the main body when the screen is resized – do you think that could be the problem? If so any tips to fix?
(Haven’t done any CSS editing,)

Logos put into the background will get lost. There isn’t much way to keep that from happening. What you can do is to incorporate it into a header image instead.
