pls refund auto renueval of business plan $299.00

I got a mail yesterday stating that My site https://ntrfoods.wordpress.com has been updated to business plan automatically after trail period. But initailly when I created this site when I was providing card details. renewal will not take place automatically. If you don’t wish to upgrade . But its automatically renewed and I asked fro cancellation. I have cancelled the business upgradation of my site:https://ntrfoods.wordpress.com But I got confirmed that auto renewal is cancelled. but what about my refund $299.00 ? which was just charged today??

Refunds are time limited. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

http://en.support.wordpress.com/Billing-History/Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there.

thanks for your kind response #timethief. actually I did not get any confirmation regarding return. I dont mine if it takes time fro one to two weks but the problem is even after I got cancilled the plan immediately, I got message that “WordPress.com Business upgrade cancelled”. but they don’t mentioned any thing about refund. So I am confused whether I can get refund or not. $299.00 is very big amount for me as I am from INDIA. Its almost my two months salary :(.
pls respond with proper solution. thank you in advance.

It looks like this transaction has been voided. I will assume that the issue is resolved unless I hear otherwise from you.

With the transaction voided, there wasn’t ever money to refund. The money wasn’t ever given to us, so we cant give it back to you.
It might be best to check with your bank at this point and see what they say. The money should be there.
