Hi, i have been getting many emails from people that are commenting on my blog & it looks like it may have been hacked. I have not done anything with this blog in several years & i do not know how to fix this problem. Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate it.
The site I need help with is jillfrancoforte.wordpress.com.

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

Are you speaking of jillfrancoforte.com? That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

There are no comments on the WordPress.com site, jillfrancoforte.wordpress.com, we haven’t sent any emails to the email address on file for your WordPress.com username account aside from notifications about this forum thread, and no one has accessed this WordPress.com username account in five years – the only recent activity on this account is when you logged in around ten hours ago, right before creating this forum thread.
